Piramis Project Management
About Piramis Project Management
PiramisPM is one of the very few training and consultancy companies in Hungary that can cover all maturity levels of project and organizational management. We offer solutions based on an objective assessment of any organization, thanks to us not being tied to one specific approach. Our experts are well versed in both the predictive methodologies and the adaptive thinking, which is a massive advantage for our clients looking for a route from one to the other. On every assignment we take, we work with trainers and consultants who have extensive and real-life experience for managing such transitions successfully which is critical for companies looking at the long and challenging road towards, for example, organizational agility.
We have a continuous flow of training assignments from across Europe: we delivered courses for clients in the UK, Poland, Austria and Sweden in recent years, although during the most recent, pandemic-hit times we usually deliver these from our professional e-learning studio. More than 1500 participants learnt predictive project management, and more than 1000 learnt about the agile mindset from us across the continent. Our experts are active in volunteering for various assignments for PMI, from leading the Hungarian translation of PMBOK6 to the editing of the Hungarian version of the Agile Practice Guide.
We were amongst the first companies in Hungary to offer preparation courses for PMI’s Agile Certified Practitioner exam, and in acquiring the certificate to teach SAFe courses as well. From 2021 onwards, we offer PMI-certified PMP exam preparation courses, too, after receiving the necessary approvals from PMI.
We are extremely proud that in September 2019 we became the first-ever company from Hungary to receive the „Market Leader in Agile Project Management” acknowledgement from the independent, international training assessment company, Course Conductor. They base their evaluation not only on hundreds of individual feedback forms from participants, but also the positive change induced on the client organizations themselves.

1. Our experts
Balazs Horvath, PMP, CSM, PMI-ACP
Balazs started his career in research and development for Nokia Networks more than two decades ago where he quickly became a project manager of a team that grew to more than 100 developers. He spearheaded a transformation of that team from a traditional waterfall approach to scaled Agile in 2006. After 7 years in R&D he left and worked in other industries (luxury and video games) in various positions (marketing, retail and business development) both in the UK and Hungary. He set up his first company in 2008 and has been managing a number of these ever since, directing his focus towards training and consultancy in recent years.
He started teaching all kinds of project management in 2009 across Europe (UK, Poland, Sweden, Austria, and Hungary). He is an expert both in predictive and adaptive project management and received his PMP in 2005 and his CSM in 2006, the latter from a course led by Ken Schwaber himself. He can paint an objective and rich picture on which organizations can decide which thinking is right for certain situations as well as helping them through a transformation, based on a wide range of his real-life experiences.
