Perspectives on Project Value by Presidents: Organization, Governance, and Influence

Projects usually don’t fail because of a lack of methodology. They usually fail because they lack alignment, support, or relevance.

Today’s organizations expect projects to do three things at once: create value in agile environments, execute strategy through PMOs, and earn real buy-in from stakeholders.

In this breakout session, we’ll explore rules of project success through these complementary perspectives: which ways an organization is changingto creat value, how PMOs turn vision into execution, and how project leaders can sell their projects, their teams, and themselves.
Because in the end, a successful project must be agile, aligned and approved.

Project sponsorship

I became a sponsor. What do I need to do? How can I be a good sponsor? How can I learn to be a sponsor?

I’m a PM and I have a new project. What shall I expect from a sponsor? What is the relationship between us?

We try to find answers to these questions.

This session is conducted by Bosch.

  • Stewarded throughout the entire lifecycle
  • Measured in ways that extend beyond KPIs and deliverables

This session is designed for project managers and PMO professionals who want to elevate their practice and ensure their projects create business outcomes that last.

Agile vs. Waterfall: The Wrong Debate?

Challenges and Lessons Learnt from Hybrid Project Management

Is the real question Agile or Waterfall — or are we debating the wrong thing? In today’s complex organizations, projects rarely fit into one methodology. Hybrid approaches are increasingly becoming the practical reality, combining structure, governance and predictability with adaptability, fast feedback and customer focus.

In this breakout session, experts from Projektcoach Consulting, Vialto Consulting and Profexec Services will explore why hybrid project management is on the rise, what makes it work — and what makes it fail. Drawing on survey insights, transformation experience and delivery lessons, the session will challenge common assumptions around “agile projects,” clarify when predictive or adaptive approaches make sense, and discuss how leaders can design hybrid ways of working consciously rather than accidentally. The presentations will be followed by Q&A and an open discussion on how hybrid delivery can create real project value.
