The theme of the 46th Workshop is “The Relationship between Happiness and Success”. The revealed results of positive psychology and seven simple principles for raising happiness levels. How are these valid in project management?

Among the conditions of success for project management and project managers, the Workshop examines the existence of happiness and joyful life, the conditions and conditions of its creation based on the latest results of positive psychology. The topic was chosen by the participants of the Workshop and Gábor Lipi (founding owner of Arany-alap Kft., PMP, project management trainer, consultant) was asked to write an introductory blog and give an introductory lecture. A detailed professional introduction will be available from August at https://mfor.hu/cikkek/projektmenedzsment.html.

Workshop discussion would like to review the topic by answering the following questions - issues to be discussed:

  1. What are their experiences with whether positive-minded project teams perform better than neutral or negative-minded ones?
  2. In your experience, what is the main focus of problem management/crisis management on projects?
  3. As a project manager, what percentage of events related to the project do you think are under the control of you and the project team? What would be the ideal ratio?
  4. Are routines and appropriate habits developed with the team to facilitate project operation? Do you see the principle of the 20-second rule as applicable?
  5. Do they use, if so, what methods to strengthen the need for knowledge sharing and mutual development in the project team? Does this affect team collaboration and human relationships?
