PMI Budapest, Hungarian Chapter Member Summer Night 2020
From March 2020, our lives changed. In the last four months, many of us have been working from home. Not only the order of jobs but also the lives of schools and families have fundamentally changed.
This is no different in the life of PMI Budapest, Hungarian Chapter. Since March, a whole new mode of operation has begun, we could not meet in person. All of our professional events have moved into the online world. We held not only our professional events but also our annual general meeting on Webex, as well as the general election online.
This year is not just about the professional and private challenges in our lives, but also about the opportunities. During the 17 years of PMI Budapest's existence, we have always strived to build a professional project management community as part of the PMI global organization with a half-century history, based on a tried-and-tested knowledge base and qualification system, in line with our strategic mission.
In 2020, almost 100 people joined us, so today we have a membership of 370 people, so we are the largest professional community in Hungary, belonging to an international project management organization. The 2019 Member Satisfaction Survey and the focus group discussion held in May 2020 have helped our work in a number of ways in recent months. Our fellow members expressed the need to strengthen the Hungarian community of PMI Budapest, the number of professional programs available only to the members of the association, and the communication between the members of the association in order to strengthen the strength of belonging.
In line with the above, we carried on all our professional programs, including the monthly professional Lunch and Learn webinars, the PM Mentoring Program, our web and social media appearances, the Project Management Diploma Thesis and Project Manager of the Year Competition, and the volunteer professional programs. In February 2020, we cut our ax into a big tree and decided to put our web presence on a completely new footing and renew www.pmi.hu not only technically, but also in terms of content, which we would like to report to our members for the first time in a short presentation. discussion follows.
We hereby respectfully invite you to a private event on August 12, 2020, from 5:00 pm, for which only our members are welcome.
The event will be hosted by the headquarters of Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions Kft., H-1097 Budapest, Tóth Kálmán u. 2 / B., In Mill Park. We are preparing for an outdoor event in the middle of summer. During the evening, we will present the completely renewed website www.pmi.hu, and we will also report on the project as a case study. During the content renewal, we will introduce the new services available only to our members.
After the short presentation, we will prepare a special program tailored to the place and the season. Our invitation was accepted by the chief winemaker of Kern-Bor and Pezsgőház, Léna Szavercsenko, who introduces us to the world of excellent Hungarian wines during a wine tasting. During the program, we take care not only of the professional project management program, the excellent Hungarian wines but also of the company, so we sent our exclusive invitation only to our members.
