We are simplifying the membership process for our community and enriching PMI® Membership to offer a seamless experience for our members. Customers purchasing PMI® Membership will select one chapter within their registered country and won’t see a separate line item and fee for chapter membership at checkout.

Additional details
In participating countries, chapter membership will be bundled with all PMI® Membership purchases for new and renewing customers when the new membership model goes into effect in a member’s country. Customers will see their local chapter membership included in their shopping cart with their PMI® Membership. Customers will not see a separate line item with the chapter membership fee.
The customer’s chapter is automatically selected based on their preferred address if it is within their registered country. If their preferred address is outside of their registered country, their new assigned chapter will be based on their geolocation, as long as it is within their registered country. If they would like to change their registered country, they must contact customer care.
If their geolocation is outside of their registered country, their new assigned chapter will default to the first chapter alphabetically within their registered country. This selection can be changed by the user before purchase if multiple chapters exist in the member’s country.
Members will maintain access to all previously purchased chapters until their next renewal. At the point of renewal, their membership bundle will include membership to their longest standing chapter in their registered country. The other chapters will be loaded into the cart as well, if the member wants to renew them.
Customers purchasing a PMI® Membership will be assigned a chapter that is closest to their preferred address in their registered country. If the country has multiple chapters, they will be able to change this selection to any chapter in their country. If the country only has one chapter, they will not be able to change their chapter, but will be able to purchase additional chapter memberships after the purchase of PMI® Membership.
