You may have heard that on 21 October, thirty-one PMI Chapters met at a President’s Retreat hosted by the Region 8 Mentors and after a very productive brainstorming session signed the Declaration of Athens aimed at improving collaboration among Chapters.
- “We agree that by working together, rather than individually, our Chapters will be able to offer greater value to our members, thereby retaining and growing our membership.”
- “Many of our key partner organizations have operations across Europe. By working together, our Chapters will offer greater value to our multinational partners by providing them the same high standard of services wherever they are.”
- “By collaborating with one another, our Chapters will be able to be more cost effective by removing duplication, reducing costs and increasing revenue.”
- “We agree today to identify areas in which our Chapters could develop shared services. We agree to convene a group of leaders who will deliver these shared services for the benefit of the community.
