Simple tips to change your habits and improve your performance
If you use your Sunday to organize your "stuff," pay attention to these tips!
Your habits say a lot about your productivity. If you know something is holding you back, it's time to change, right? ;)
1 - Don't try to break a bad habit; instead, replace it with a new one.
2 - Start small don't try to change several habits at once. Your willpower is limited; use it wisely.
3 - Study your habit. Identify the trigger, routine, and reward. You need to know what happens and why it happens to anticipate and plan your move.
4 - Start today. Start with something simple that is very easy to do.
5 - Don't be anxious to get started soon. Plan carefully what you will do and how it will work in practice.
6 - You will inevitably make mistakes once in a while. Rest assured, just go back to your stress-free routine.
7 - Believe You Can Change Even if everything has failed you before, you have the power to change your life.
8 - Start as easy as possible, so you don't need the willpower to do it.
9 - Divide your habit into blocks of time. Don't try to walk 10 km the first time; instead, start with under 500 meters and go up to 100 a day?
10 - Ask someone for help to "oversee" what you are doing. It helps keep you on track.
11 - There will be many saboteurs on the way. Learn to live with people who will try to mess up your results. Have maturity.
12- Whenever you complete your objective, reward yourself. It's scientifically proven; rewards are the biggest habit reinforcers.
13 - Make a public commitment either on your Facebook page or in a Whatsapp group. I guarantee that you will think twice before not fulfilling the agreement.
14 - Eliminate situations that remind you of old habits. Does going out to bars with your friends make you smoke? Arrange another tour instead. This step is essential for changing bad habits and avoiding going back to them after the change.
15 - Keep a clear picture of WHY you want to change that habit in your mind. With a well-defined and robust purpose, you will hardly go off the rails.
You can regain control of your life and behavior by changing your habits. Remember, you cannot eliminate your habits; instead, you need to change your bad habits by replacing them with new, healthier, and more productive habits.
