Project Management Institute Authorized Training Partner certification awarded to Corvinus
The Corvinus University of Budapest is the first Hungarian higher education institution to be included in the list of the Project Management Institute's qualified teaching institutions.
The PMI is the world's largest professional non-profit organization of project managers, working with stable, quality-assured partners who have been delivering high-quality project management training for many years.
The qualification obtained this summer will further strengthen the position of Corvinus University of Budapest project management training in the market and will open the possibility to organize short thematic training courses of high interest, providing PDU credits, combining university traditions with a modern business and project management approach. In this way, participants will not only be able to complete the three-year requirement but will also be able to acquire deep and comprehensive knowledge within the walls or virtual classrooms of the Corvinus University of Budapest.
The successful accreditation of PMI ATP was preceded by almost a year of intensive preparatory work involving several departments of the University (Institute for Enterprise Development, Programme Management, Accreditation Office, Legal Office, and two students). The PMI Budapest, Hungarian Chapter, a strategic partner of Corvinus, also provided professional support for the certification process.
The Corvinus University of Budapest, in cooperation with the Hungarian chapter of PMI Budapest, has launched an international postgraduate degree in Project Management in English from September 2021. The course will train project managers who are capable of working in both medium complexity domestic and international projects.
The Corvinus University of Budapest is the fourth organization in Hungary to be awarded the PMI Authorized Training Partner designation and the first among higher education institutions.
