Dezső Dudás is a PMP certified project manager with physicist background and an entrepreneurships mindset having special knowledge in aviation, supercomputer, healthcare and software development domain and experiencing in project, program and portfolio level and leading PMOs. He is also an enthusiastic volunteer to support project management community especially mentoring the next generation and to learn from them. Delegated by the PMI Budapest, he is one of the lecturers of the International Project manager postgraduate course at Corvinus University and has responsibility of the project planning subject.

As a PMIef liasion he takes care of the youth and social impact program of PMI and on that base he is one of the translators of The Tower Game, an official PMIef's learning and activity material. One of his duties is managing the Rising Leader professional award program and he is the product owner of the translation of the PMBoK 7th edition, too. At PMI Budapest his dealing with several technical support like the Chapter's website administration and the Microsoft 365 suit management.

I am a result driven CAPM® certified project management professional with extensive experience in global IT business operations and infrastructures with in-depth expertise in the analysis, planning, and implementing initiatives in a complex environment. I have demonstrated experience in coordinating people and in driving complex projects.

As an active volunteer of the Chapter, I am committed to support our organization in all activities, my current responsibilities are the management and organization of professional events. I am dedicated to the Project Management profession not only by performing my daily duties as Senior Lead IT Project Manager, but also in professional education, continuous coaching and mentoring. My development goal is to acquire PMP® certification within 1 year.

I am an associate professor at the Budapest University of Economics and Business, head of the Department of Commerce, Gábor Klauzál and Gábor Baross Prize-winning economist. My teaching activities mainly cover project management and strategy management topics, while my research focuses on the impact of disruptive technologies on management and business models.

As a company manager, I have also experienced the difficulties of implementing a business or infrastructure development objective if the right project management methods and tools are not in place within the organisation. In both the corporate and academic worlds, I have always considered it important that, in addition to the formulation of strategic objectives, the importance of implementation should not be "lost in the shuffle". I have tried to apply this approach when, for example, I have coordinated the raising of capital, but also when I have led university research projects. I also try to "promote" this management philosophy in higher education, which is why I was pleased to be asked by PMI Budapest to coordinate the "Diploma Thesis Competition". 

If my nomination for the position of Vice President of the Hungarian Chapter of PMI Budapest receives sufficient support and I am elected, I will do my best to support the work of the organisation.

I finished my studies in 2014 at the University of Pécs, Master's Degree in Management and Organisation. I obtained my PMP certification in 2017, after which I have been taking an increasingly active volunteer role in the life of PMI Budapest, Hungarian chapter. Since the end of 2018 I have been working with the teams of Redbridge Consulting Ltd. and since 2019 with Greendbridge Consulting Ltd. on projects, where I mainly perform project management tasks. In my role as an external project manager and consultant, I was able to get to know several corporate cultures, which provided me with useful knowledge in the field of project management. In the past years, I have supported the Hungarian chapter of PMI Budapest in the following activities:

• Permanent participation in the PMI Budapest board meetings since 2018
• Participation in the organisation of PMPubs since 2018
• Participation in the organization of the Art of Projects conference from 2018
• Organising the Project Manager of the Year Awards 2018
• Organising PMI Budapest 15th anniversary event 2018
• Representing PMI Budapest at the PMI Region 8 Conference 2019
• Organisation of PMI Region 8 Conference in Budapest 2020

From 2021 onwards, for the last 2 years I have held the position of Vice President of Events of PMI Budapest, Hungarian Chapter, where my responsibilities included coordinating the Chapter's online and in-person events, such as Lunch & Learn webinars, Art of Projects Conferences, Individual in-person events.

A technológia fejlődését folyamatosan követve hatékony kommunikációt épít fel a technikai szakemberek, a projektcsapat és az ügyfél között. 2003 óta van PMP minősítése és azóta tagja a PMI magyar tagozatának. MSP programmenedzsment tanúsítvánnyal is rendelkezik.
